تنفيذاً لتوجيهات محافظ صلاح الدين السيد هيثم الزهوان، أجرى معاون المحافظ للشؤون الفنية المهندس عمر الجراد، برفقة قائممقام السيد طارق حمد ومدراء الدوائر الأمنية ومدير بلدية الشرقاط، زيارة ميدانية إلى سيطرة مدخل صلاح الدين الشمالي.

وجرى خلال الزيارة الاطلاع على واقع السيطرة ومناقشة سبل تطويرها وتأهيلها بما ينسجم مع أهمية الموقع، والعمل على تحويلها إلى سيطرة نموذجية تعكس الوجه الحضاري للمحافظة، فضلاً عن تعزيز الجوانب الأمنية والخدمية وتوفير أفضل التسهيلات للمواطنين والزائرين.
